Sport Dimensions are leaders in Acceleration, Strength and Power conditioning and Rehabilitation training. We have set-up a unique Running School, Performance, Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation centre, in Chiswick, West London specializing In the teaching people how to get fit and how to get faster in their chosen sport.

We work with youngsters from 8 years old to 80 ! As well as working closely with a number of football and rugby clubs and elite and professional athletes of all ages developing training programmers.
Our client list includes athletes from Chelsea FC, Chelsea Academy, Crystal Palace, QPR, Wolves, Blackburn FC, West Ham, Ipswich Town, Stoke City, London Irish, Harlequins, WASPS, Saracens, the RFUW, the English Institute of Sport, the US Soccer team, GB Bobsleigh and a host of international and recreational Tri-athletes and Track & Field athletes and local sports clubs.

We also run a number of Running Coaching camps in schools and colleges, Speed Camps and Speed Workshops for athletes and coaches in the UK and Europe. The Workshops go through the theory, practice drills and comprehensive training programmes of dynamic ground speed training used by professional athletes and sports teams around the world.

 

Mike Antoniades

Mike is the founder and Coaching Director of Sport Dimensions and The Running School.

Mike has been a coach for 26 years and has worked in the UK, Europe and the USA. He has worked with a number of professional athletes and clubs from different sports including soccer, rugby, basketball, tennis and track and field. He is a qualified UEFA A Coach, Speed Coach, Strength & Conditioning Coach and Rehabilitation Specialist.

Mike runs coaching workshops and seminars in Europe and the USA, on Speed and Power Development, Rehabilitation and Long Term Development of Soccer Athletes, and is a guest lecturer at Sheffield University and St Mary’s University on Injury Prevention and Rehabilitation techniques. He has developed a number of performance and rehabilitation programmes and protocols.
He has worked as a coach at professional and academy level in the UK and Europe and works as a coaching consultant for professional football and Rugby clubs as well as track and field athletes in the UK and the USA

His reputation as a coach in Speed Development and rehabilitation has seen him featured in national newspapers, magazines and television all over the world.
Mike is he author of the DVD on developing speed in football called “Feel the Speed” and the co- author of “The Business Travellers Fitness Bible” a book on getting fit and staying fit while you travel. He is currently writing a book on Speed Development.

Mike set-up the Running School programme after years of working with elite and professional athletes and changing their biomechanics to make them more efficient. He found that the techniques were easily adapted to teaching kids and adults how to run efficiently and effectively. The Running School now teaches kids from the age of 7 and adults how to run and how to run fast.
