So what’s so difficult about that I hear you say? Well if you are one of those people who take to sports easily, have always been involved in sport and have never had any problems running then – WHY ARE YOU WASTING YOUR TIME READING THIS? Go out and Run!

There are those of us who take to running naturally and have been in sports and fitness all their life and they can just put on their training gear and go out for a run, and there are those of us who haven’t run since primary school!

We would like to, but for one reason or another we never get round to it and the longer we leave it the harder it gets – we are out of breath within 2 minutes of running , most body parts hurt like hell and we wonder what benefits regular runners derive from it!! As for the delayed pain which hits you the day after or even worse, 48 hours after exercise, what’s all that about?

There are those of us who have suddenly discovered that the good life has crept up behind us and added a few, (sometimes more than a few) extra pounds which we can’t seem to be able to shift, and all these extra pounds are in the wrong places!
