Recent research (2007) has shown that 80% of Women, do not do enough weekly exercise to stay healthy! Many women who are interested in staying slim try and do so by reducing their food intake or dieting! But we know that diets alone don’t work.

The Women's Sport and Fitness Foundation, which found that less than one in five women do enough exercise to stay healthy, found, as surveys do, that the explanations and excuses the same as always: Not enough time !

Women are self-conscious about how they look when exercising, often hated sports at school and are horribly short of time, once kids and other caring duties are added in.

The most worrying aspect is amongst young girls 16 to 26 who stop exercising all together when they leave school and because some don’t have a tendency to put on fat and they look slim they think they are healthy! But being slim does no mean that you are fit and healthy.

One of the biggest reasons most people don't exercise is they don't plan for it. People think physical activity just happens, and it doesn't. I am afraid it’s not like, “not enough time to cook today so we can get a takeaway instead”.

You can’t get physical exercise as a “take away”! You have to plan it into your life, just like you plan the rest of your lifestyle!
