The biggest thrill we get is when we teach a young boy or girl to run! When you see them running effortlessly, efficiently and fast in just a few sessions, the joy on their faces when they realise how easy it is, the confidence they discover which was not there before, that makes what we do so worthwhile and so fulfilling!
The Running School for Kids starts from the age of 8 to 16 and we make it fun! Because it has to be fun! We look at the individual biomechanics (the way they move) and the sport that the kids are involved in and we get them running more effectively and running a lot faster. We have a special running programme for kids, which takes into account their growth, their coordination and ability.
We can teach anyone how to run and how to run faster! Most young athletes run by instinct and although very natural, they can pick-up bad habits that stay with them through the rest of their sporting career.
More importantly if they can’t run correctly it stops them from improving and in many cases puts them off sport and fitness throughout their school years and beyond and stops them from fulfilling their potential.

We Teach Your Kids How To Run! In just six sessions!
Kids love to RUN! But just like their parents they are not always good at running because no one has shown them how to run. If they don’t get the opportunity to be out playing 2-3 hours a day ( and in a big city that is getting more and more difficult to achieve) to play games and develop their coordination and motor control and get comfortable with their own body and how it works, then their body does not learn from the experience of playing and there is a slow down in the development of their motor skills – jumping running, skipping, coordination, stamina etc
What does it cost and what will you get?
A one off fee of £200.

For the best results the training sessions can be spread over six weeks that way we can give your kids homework to do as well that will ensure they are having fun and becoming better runners. The sessions can also be completed in a shorter time period.
By the end of the course they will know:

- HOW to get fitter, faster and healthier
- WHAT you have to do to get them fitter and healthier
Will your child become an accomplished runner after six weeks? No, but they will be become better runners, have better coordination and agility and a renewed confidence in their own ability. If they continue to run then the change in just 6 weeks is phenomenal with young children.

We have introduced special Parent & Child Running Sessions so you can learn to run and train with your child. The procedure is exactly the same but you get a discount for booking together!
What happens when they complete the six sessions?
Kids will always get better and better with practice, there is no limit to what they can do and where they can go with there running in they want to! But they need to want to, not you!
Not everyone will be an athlete. It would be great if all our kids grew up to embrace sports and fitness, but we are living in the real world and we know that the reality is that for a number of reasons (too many to mention here ) that this will not be the case.
Our job as parents is to give them the best opportunities, introduce them to running and sport, encourage and motivate them and then let them decide what path they want to follow.
They be part of a youth sports club – football, rugby, etc and enjoy the benefits their new found confidence in running and sprinting to continue to train! We will supply you with a training programme when they have completed their Running School programme.
They can continue to train at the Running School to improve Running Technique and get fitter and faster. We work with beginners, recreational and elite youngsters who play football, rugby, basketball, cricket or are training with athletic clubs and we develop training programmes at all levels. We will help them to achieve their goals whatever they are: get fit, get faster and compete in races.
You child may be the next Sebastian Coe, or Steve Cram or Paula Radcliffe and may want to take up running competitively by joining a Running or athletics Club.
How can they start?
The running school works by appointment only. Once you have decided when you want to begin we book an appointment and we are ready to start.
The Running School Is open from 7 AM until 8 PM on weekdays and 8 AM until 12PM on Saturday with special sessions for Kids.
